BRING THE FUN
IN [rhetorical verse in
Shakespearean sonnet form]
"HEY,
I'VE DIED TWICE," SINGS BUFFY, and I
laugh.
"Once More With Feeling"
had fun lines like that.
Dear Joss,
I swear I'll "kill a fatted
calf"
if fun comes back.
Please, don't think fun's "old
hat."
When Buffy balanced
poinancy and fun --
the
laughter - drama - action mixed just
right
in Whedon's
magic cauldron -- we all won.
But some
true fans now dread each Tuesday
night.
What further sadness must
our "friends"
endure?
All-gloomy
Buffy, Willow, Xander?
"Eeeeewww!!"
Perhaps "insanity" will
be the cure
(no matter if
"that scene" was fake or
true).
Perhaps this whining is a
waste of time.
Next episode may yield a
diff'rent rhyme.
