PART 2- Sonnets for 4/1 TEA TIME -

"Once More, With
Adjustments"- Old Episodes & Older
Eyes [rhetorical verse in
Shakesperean Sonnet Form]
PART 2: FROM
BIG PICTURE TO. . . CHAOS?
(3)
"THE HARVEST" WAS SUPPOSED TO BE the
theme
of all my sonnet verses for
today.
I watched it through, last night,
but then this scheme
came to my mind . . .
and hence this disarray.
Instead of
finding things I want to praise,
I found
myself distracted by each flaw.
A lust "to
change it all" - go diff'rent ways
than
Joss had gone (though that's against the
law<g> ).
I make myself
calm down and watch once more.
I try to
love the Master's big bad
style.
Though my blaspheming bottom's
getting sore,
I look, and look, and look .
. . but all the while . . .
. . . I
keep imagining sweet Katie Holmes
in my
Angelic face. . . Saliva foams.
<ewg>
(4) AS YOU CAN SEE this
verse has "lost its soul."
"The Harvest"
matters not, to me. No more.
This sonnet
must now seek some higher goal
to justify
our time . . . Kick down a door . . .
.
. . beyond the silly surface of desire.
Can
our imaginations be set free
by Katie-lust?
Can Holmes-love take us high'r?
Or are we
playing pure insanity?
Perhaps
like Buffy, down that road's our path.
But
wait! That means the path Joss took was
right.
Which means that all I've written
needs new math.
And maybe I'm just higher
than a kite. <g>
THE
BOTTOM LINE'S we've got a 6th-year
eye.
You can't "go Holmes" again. But,
God, I'd try. <ewg>
