REQUEST: The Ballad of Sarah Michelle Gellar (uncut) SUNG TO:
Going Through The Motions
 |
I saw your request for the rest . .
. and I felt your pain. <smile> For the

AM
KEY TO HOW PARTS ARE
SUNG
(A) EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, THE
SAME ARRANGEMENT
(B) I'VE BEEN MAKING SHOWS
OF TRADING BLOWS
(C) THAT I'VE BEEN GOING
THROUGH THE MOTIONS
(D) WILL I STAY THIS
WAY FOREVER
(CODA) GOING THROUGH THE
MOTIONS. LOSING ALL MY
DRIVE
GELLAR'S SO
PRECOCIOUS (THE BALLAD OF SARAH
MICHELLE GELLAR)
SUNG TO THE MELODY OF
GOING THROUGH THE
MOTIONS
(A)
She is hard to
beat -- her dreams propel her.
"All My
Children" -- "sweet sixteen."
ACTING gets
her cast -- so well, so stellar
Nabbed an
Emmy fast -- next year on the
scene.
(B)
The OLD STAR on the show,
said "No. No. No. . . ."
"Sweet Sarah's got
to go."
(C)
"Young Sarah Gellar's
too precocious, for her own damned
good."
"I must run Miss Gellar from my
hood."
2.
(A)
OLD STAR
had the clout, and so she used it.
Her
writers so devout with fear . . .
Turned
Sweet Sarah bad -- REAL BAD. Soon she's
out.
Thrown out on her ear. (Good for her
career.) Never shed a
tear.
(B)
Off to Hollywood, just
like she should
Well, we all knew she could
...
(C)
... 'Cause Sarah
Gellar's so precocious. She's just so
damned good.
She was made for Whedon's
neighborhood.
(D)
Will this girl
stay young forever?
Memorizing words so
clever . . .written by some hottie
"fellar."
Might as well be MEEEE...
<g>
(CODA)
... 'CAUSE I'M
so precocious. . . I know how to
drive.
And I hope you see. . . how
Joss-like I can be. <g>
Hey, call me
"Shakespeare." Heeee's . . . al-i-i-i-i-ive!
<ewg>
you

| To going through the
motions:
I know that you're amused, still I
play your game I remain under your curse This is
what you want, and don't I know it, But what
could be worse, I can't help but verse
Still I
try and try to beat this guy but, yet, I don't know
why.
Because he's making me a poet, and I don't
want to be, My god, I'm rhyming now, please don't you
see...
Will I stay this way forever? Versing
through my life's endeavor, I'm at the end of my
tether, FP don't you see...
You're making me a
poet, but I'm so very bad, my rhyming is pathetic and
so sad... Stop making me a poet, because I just can't
be, Yelnif was not meant for poetry.
Peace
and Love. Yelnif.
