#39/154 A RHETORICAL SONNET IN THE
CONTEXT OF BtVS EPISODE #9 - "THE PUPPET
SHOW" Posted by: forensicpopouri - Apr 13, 2002, 7:58
AM
THE BUFFYVERSE & TEA
TIME
A TEA TIME EPISODE OF
MISCOMMUNICATION . . . AND
REDEMPTION
My Bad
(Expectation): a sonnetized apology to
yelnif who sings so well
AMIDST
"THE CHANGE OF HATS" my wires got
crossed.
Your syllables were perfectly
haiku.
Akin "The Puppet Show,"
suspicions tossed
a "bad behaving"
Londoner not you . . .
. . .
into my frame of ref'rence when I read
your
lines. My expectation was "no
way"
would holywater write verse
(lest we're wed<g>)
to TEA TIME's
rule (no matter what I say).
The
expectations in "The Puppet
Show"
had Scoobies judging wrong in
ev'ry take.
The slayer thought the puppet
was her foe.
Vice versa. Like so,
yelnif. My mistake.
I blush,
I beg, I lay at yelnif's feet
my full
apology. Her song is sweet.
