| That's a tough call.
It would go against his character, but if he did allow
her to remove them permanently it would be a sign of his
respect and love for her. Doesn't he respect her though,
I mean in Denial a lot of the characters thought that
Rama was below them in station, when in fact she was
above them all. Angelus recognized this and wanted to
throw it in their faces. Isn't that a sign of his
respect for her or is he just acknowledging her
importance?

| Ligeia is taking Rama
(15-year-old, shortly after Angelus has brought her into
his household) to the dressmakers and milliners and
corsetieres.
Angelus is advising her to have
Rama's gloves made special--to fit over the infamous
bracelets.
Do you think he should ever take them
off? I think about it but that would probably be very
untrue to his character...

does. Nor do I think he actually understands the
character.

| Awwww that's so cute!
You guys are awesome. Thank you so much!
Playing
hooky is fun, n'est pas? I didn't get much done today
either. I had wanted to do my taxes today, but it is so
beautiful outside that instead I took my dog for a walk
and hung out in the backyard for a while. Then it was
tea time, which I always want to participate in. Then I
found one of my favourite scoobies here, so I can't
leave now. :o)
Re 3 jobs: Well I might because my
new job is for only 28 days of teaching: I teach 5 days
the first week, 4 days the 2nd week and then twice a
week after that for a while and then once a week after
that. The program is 7 months long, so I'll need to keep
my sub job for sure to make a living. However, since sub
work isn't regular, I'll probably keep the retail job
too, but I'll take some time off from the retail job
when I start my new job. Does that make
sense?

warm From a sun slung low. Clouds outlined on a

| The Why
Ah, the
terrace Where voices can be heard equally. No
elitist rhetoric or poetry.
#2
But
look at me, I can talk iambic. That formal stuff
comes from the terrace floor. Enoughs, enough,
communications sick! As Buffy would, I kick down the
lounge door.
(Please watch your step as you
reenter the lounge. There are shards of glass and
splinters of wood everywhere.)
