grabs for Mummy's sacred seal . . .

Buffy trains with Giles, but ASKS
time off for The Dance. . . .

. . . G: "No!" "Sacred duty!"
B: "Yeah. Yeah." "Sacrifices."
She mocks stodgy Giles.

PAUSE FOR: Xander-farce.
Jealous of exchange student
who'll stay at Buffy's.

Giles resists The Dance.
Buffy fights his resistance.
She makes Giles give in.

Xander and Buffy
talk about The Dance . . . Willow.
"Three" avoids problem. . . .

"Two" would make a "date."
Xander wants no Willlow date.
She's the "best friend" kind.

But Willow is here.
Coming in the door she hears
what Xander has said.

Willow moves right on.
The klepto-kid (Rodney) is gone.
Scoobies do their thing . . .

slashing with a knife.

sloughs Xander, runs off.

that Rodney now's the Mummy.
The Mummy Girl's gone!

Buffy remembers . . .
Must go get exchange student.
Ampada's his name. . . .

AT THE BUS STATION
The Mummy Girl finds him first.
Sucks life with a kiss.

Soon Scoobies arrive.
Buffy calls out "Ampada!"
A young woman comes.

"I am Ampada."
Xander's smitten. That's no guy!
A princess you'd say.
