NOTE: If you watch "The Dark
AGE" Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode
#20 (Season 2 Episode 8) before reading this
sonnet sequence, it will make a heck of a lot more
sense. <smile>
AN
EMPTY SPACE IN THE SOUL - RE: "The
Dark Age" Episode #20 / 2.8 of
BtVS
THAT
MONSTER THAT WE MARK OURSELVES to call
to
brighten darker moments of our lives
when
routine duties seemed too dull to haul
up
one more mount'nous day . . . It still
survives.
What we thought safely buried
in the past
untraceable through our new
camouflaged
idenity which we're sure has
surpassed
the demons who in our dark
age had lodged . . .
. . . within
our souls -- because we left that
space
unoccupied by Heaven's
guardian
(On "Buffy" Angel is
a special case:
beyond that fluke, real
demons don't fight kin.)
I'll cut
this sermon short. End with this
shout:
If God lives in your heart . . ..
All demons
out!<./b><./big>
